Summit’s Skidgel Receives National Honor

Kaci Skidgel named to 2016 NAPA Top Women Advisors list

DALLAS – Summit, a national consulting firm providing benefits, insurance and investment solutions for individuals and companies, has announced the addition of employee Kaci Skidgel to the 2016 NAPA (National Association of Plan Advisors) Top Women Advisors List. This list acknowledges the women who have made significant contributions to the retirement industry while bringing excellence to the profession.

Skidgel is the executive vice president of corporate retirement plans for Summit and oversees group retirement planning and individual wealth management.  Skidgel was named to the “Captains” list, honoring women who are a principal, owner or team captain for their companies, for the second year in a row.  Additional categories include “All-Stars”, which honors top producers at their own practices and “Rising Stars”, which honors producers with less than five years of experience as a financial advisor.

“Summit is incredibly lucky to have Kaci Skidgel on our team, providing our clients with excellent, high-quality service each and every day,” said Dale Young, Summit CEO. “Kaci’s continued dedication to her profession as well as her integrity and innovative style makes her qualified for this esteemed honor.”

Nominees answered a series of questions about their experience and practice in the retirement industry. Those answers were reviewed by a panel of judges who selected the women for the three categories. Over 15,000 votes were counted in support of the NAPA Top Women Advisors. NAPA was created by and for retirement plan advisors to keep advisors in the forefront of the industry and help them succeed. Summit has been a NAPA partner, and values employee professional development. For more information regarding Summit, visit For more information regarding NAPA, visit
