Daniel, who joined Summit in 1994, has four decades of banking and financial services leadership experience, including serving as president of Valley National Bank in Tulsa. Honor, duty, service and leadership are ingrained in Dan’s approach to work and life. As a young man, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served a thirteen-month tour of duty in Vietnam with the 5th Marine Regiment. He would later retire from the Marine Corps Reserves at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
