Troy Reichert heads up SumCal, Summit Financial Group’s west coast division, based in Los Angeles.
Under his guidance, SumCal’s brand of holistic, global-vision employee benefits solutions will undoubtedly be a welcomed alternative for employers throughout the region.
He holds degrees from two of the nation’s most prestigious universities. His Bachelor of Arts degree was earned at Wheaton College in Chicago, followed by completion of the MBA program at Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management. Additionally, Troy has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the Trinity Theological Seminary of South Florida. He is licensed to provide Life, Accident and Health Insurance.
For more than 25 years, Troy has been an effective leader and public speaker. His motivational and collaborative problem-solving skills are exemplary. He is currently writing a book on transition, managing change, and the fear keeping people from embracing change, to be applied to both personal and business situations. He has traveled around the country, talking to groups on the topic of surviving and thriving in transition.
Troy’s passion for motivating, leadership and educating runs deep, extending well beyond work and career. He volunteers with Junior Achievement to teach students about work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
Troy and his wife of 26 years have a daughter and three sons. He is an avid sports enthusiast, outdoorsman and has been a positive role model through coaching little league baseball.
