Today, groups of every size and industry are faced with interpreting and navigating through the most sweeping government-driven healthcare insurance reform in decades. The impacts will be felt for generations. Human resources directors are relying on the industry’s most knowledgeable and experienced professionals to shepherd them through its complexities. Summit’s clients, affiliates and partners are calling on Todd Rolland to do that, and more.
As evidenced by frequent public speaking and seminar leadership engagements, Todd is widely renowned as a trusted voice on employee benefits, especially the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). He is often called upon by various industry groups and organizations to present his insights. Of particular relevance is his presentation about the new healthcare delivery system within both a competitive marketplace and the “exchange world”, a summarization of input from Health and Welfare attorneys, experts from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, NAHU, IFEBP, and several within the insurance industry’s leadership ranks. He is often heard on radio stations throughout Oklahoma promoting Summit’s advisory and counsel to businesses about regulations and laws surrounding PPACA.
Todd is a 1987 graduate of Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He was named NSU Outstanding Alumnus in 2008, and is a member of the Northeastern State University Higher Education Committee.
Todd and his wife of 25 years have been blessed with three children. He is past chairman of the board, and current board member, for Tulsa’s Ronald McDonald House. His love and appreciation for the positive impact athletics can have with young people is manifested in much of Todd’s benevolence. He coached youth baseball for some time and is proudly involved with Josh Heupel’s #14 Foundation, a performance enhancement training camp for underprivileged kids throughout Oklahoma. The foundation is widely respected as a medium for instilling a can-do, collaborative spirit in kids at the critically formative period of their lives.
"The values of teamwork and collaboration, both with our clients and among the Summit associates, create positive outcomes for everyone."
